Description
Contractor will provide change management services to supportthe successful delivery of assigned projects. Contractor will work withassigned resources to deliver the project in accordance with projectmanagement standards, or if standards are not available, to PMI best practices.
Specific duties include:
Conduct change impact analyses to identify the changes andthe impacts that will drive the overall change strategy. Identify populations impacted by the change. Assess their level of support andreadiness for the change. Identify hot spots or areas of stakeholder risk wheremore attention or support may be required. Identify the “What’s In It For Me?”for impacted stakeholders.
Determine the change management actions needed to prepare for successfully and adopt the change. Develop a customizedcommunication plan that fits the culture and resonates with impactedstakeholder groups.
Determine training needs based on changes to currentprocesses, systems, and skills. Develop a customized training approach thatsupports the culture and ways of working. Develop sustainabletraining materials for impacted end users that will support instructor-led andself-guided learning, as appropriate. Facilitate training.
Identify key adoption areas that need to be monitored pre-and post-change. Assess adoption level post-change. Identify requiredpost-change support, providing additional communications as needed. Identifygaps where additional job aids may be required, then develop job aids to fillgaps and/or modify existing job aids based on user feedback.

Stakeholder Identification and Analysis
Change Impact Analysis
One-page overview of what’s changing (by product, initiative,or workstream as applicable)
WIIFM (by product, initiative, or workstream as applicable)
Communication and engagement plan, including timelines andapproach
Change and communications materials (draft communications,videos, presentation decks for executives, managers, etc.)
Training needs analysis and plan, including timelines andapproach
Training materials, including presentations, videos,knowledge base articles, etc. as appropriate
Job aids for ongoing end user support - Technical Writingexperience is a plus.
Deliverable dates are subject to agreement between contractorpersonnel and project manager, provided the schedule milestones areadhered to. For any given deliverable, there may be multiple instances of thedeliverable occurring at different times.
Desirable qualifications:
Technical writing/knowledge base experience is a plus
Customer Contact/Call Center experience is a plus
Local to Portland, Oregon area is desired. Work ishybrid/remote with some on-site collaboration or interviewing required
